At first, I tried to fix everything externally.
More advice.
More solutions.
More answers.
But nothing was actually shifting how I felt. Not one person could calm my mind or heal my broken heart. This person was usually James but he could no longer assure me it was going to be ok.
Why Holistic Healing Matters
My body still felt anxious. Tight. On edge.
My tolerance was non-existent, not how you want to be with a newborn.
And I didn’t realise then…that my body was holding everything I had been through.
This is where holistic healing changed everything for me.
Nervous System Healing & Emotional Release
I started exploring:
– Breathwork
– Meditation
– Nervous system regulation
– Forgiveness
– Fascia release
Not perfectly.
Just slowly.
And something started to shift.
Feeling Safe in Your Body Again
For the first time in a long time…
I felt safe.
Not because anything else in my life had changed for the better or any of the pressure has released but because I had.
That’s when I understood:
Healing isn’t about fixing your life.
It’s about coming back to yourself. The self that has no fears, no preconceived assumptions and trusts completely in their journey.
